Fuyang Creativity Park

Plincke are landscape masterplanners for the Fuyang Creativity Park, including a cultural centre, school, residential villas, apartment buildings, high rise offices, and an arts based retail centre.  The project is currently under construction and Plincke located a Shanghai based design team to ensure that the masterplan and architectural components were fully coordinated.  An arts strategy was also developed that brought together a variety of arts agencies and artists. Based upon the ancient Chinese arts of calligraphy and paper cutting, the design moves through a series of gestures including angular folded plains in urban areas to delicately fretted patterns in the garden zones.

The first phase of development is due to complete in January 2012.
