Plincke were appointed under an initial 3-year framework agreement to provide a strategic landscape framework and ecological advice, as well as detailed design services. The initial framework has been renewed for 3 subsequent terms and Plincke have undertaken project work for the University every year over a continuous 12-year period.

For the campus plaza around the Institute of Life Sciences building we prepared outline plans (with architects NBBJ) providing circulation space, tree and shrub planting and façade greening of retaining walls with tensile steel structures to take climbers.
