Plincke Landscape acted as environmental consultants co-ordinating landscape information to support the proposals for pharmaceutical company Ineos. They purchased a listed mansion house in the New Forest with the intention of converting it into a corporate headquarters for its UK operations. However, detailed feasibility studies suggested that demolition and new-build would support the company’s needs better than a conversion. Such an approach was contrary to the Local Plan and outside of development boundaries. The landscape contained a significant number of TPO trees. This led to the new-build headquarters being sensitively sited within the framework of the historic garden’s features.
