Westbury Manor Museum
The gardens are the result of co-operation between Fareham Borough Council and the departments of Historic Gardens and Museum Services at Hampshire County Council. Plincke were appointed to research the history of the site and design the new gardens with full public access. We also co-ordinated the input of the Hampshire Gardens Trust and the Fareham Civic Society.
The house at Westbury Manor was first constructed in the 1600’s being extended during the 18th and 19th centuries. These periods were chosen as themes for the garden restoration.
