Winchester School of Art
Plincke were retained for each of five phases of redevelopment, creating a rare opportunity to influence the campus identity over a 10-year period. The site has full public access and a series of sculpture gardens were created to enable students to display their work in an environment which encourages public interaction.
An existing avenue of plane trees were retained within the proposals and provide a green backdrop to the white rendered buildings. The hard landscape uses a simple palette of materials to create a unified public realm.
